STEPS BASE (after this value the refiner kicks in) should never exceed the value of TOTAL STEPS unless you want to use only the first KSampler.I like 10:14, increase total steps for realism, these are set for models in suggested resources, Uncanny valley and Fabled Illusion XXXL - (N/SFW), I really recommend downloading them, both are the best I found for their respective roles, feel free to comment your best values!The main appeal of this workflow is using illustrious/noobai-xl model to setup complex poses or characters and refine it with an sdxl photorealistic checkpoint.Version 5.5 has additional 1080p version file.I don't make new versions for small quality of life updates, download the file for the latest version.

Another ST workflow, but hopefully not as big as some of the others I've seen. On my 3060, images take 15s to finish, and all 28 takes about 7 minutes. Updates are mostly to fix node problems. If yours works, there's no need to update. This is a very simple workflow that helps you to save your NoobAI Text to Image Generation Data into a human readable .txt file. This will automatically get and write your metadata to the .txt file. You will find all the saved prompt files that it generated with the images inside the Archive (.Zip) that has the workflow. Also with the Image Saver Simple node used you may embed the workflow itself with each saved image or save the image and workflow for your work seperately. By default its set to REMACRI.(6) ADETAILERHere you can adjust the face detailer. The default settings work really well already but feel free to make any adjustments.(7) SAVE IMAGEHere you can choose the path your images will be saved.I installed ComfyUI using StabilityMatrix, so I set my path to F:\StabilityMatrix\Images\Text2Img\%date.Remember to change this in accordance to your PC settings. I was tired if having to constantly switch nodes around when upscaling, so I made this all-in-one, easy to use workflow to cover all of my upscaling needs.I figured someone might find this useful as well, so I polished it up a bit, and here it is :)TL;DR:This is an all-in-one, multi-pass upscaling and detailing workflow for SDXL (incl. Illustrious, NoobAI, etc) and Flux.It puts plenty of powerful nodes and techniques at your fingertips, allowing you to upscale an image as much as you want, adding details while retaining the original composition and avoiding deformation/doubling.There are many settings that allow you to choose exactly how much detail to add, and how similar to the original image the output will be.It's "plug and play", and you won't need to bypass or reroute any nodes. Everything is controlled via toggles and sliders.I consider this workflow fairly beginner friendly, as you don't need to mess around with any nodes, but the more knowledge you have, the better you'll be able to wield this workflow.PS: It also works great for img2img, with or without upscaling!MAIN FEATURES:Multi-pass Upscaling:You can choose in how many passes the original image will be upscaled to the target factor, scaling linearly and ensuring that each pass increases the resolution by the same amount of pixels. Many parameters have a "First Pass" and "Last Pass" value, that will scale the values throughout the passes. This allows for a high degree of flexibility, letting you choose when to give more freedom to the model, and when to restrain it to prevent oddities or unwanted changes.Composition Retention:You have many tools at your disposal to help retain the composition of the original image, such as: A ControlNet (with up to 3 preprocessors at the same time), ClownGuide, the Unsample/Resample technique, scaling values, and even more. These allow you to use very high Denoise values while upscaling, which is useful to add new, coherent details while still maintaining the original composition.Detail Injection:You can add as much or as little detail to the picture as you like, both big and small. There is a plethora of settings to inject noise into the image that, when used in conjunction with the other parameters, will allow you to fine-tune the details of your output. At higher resolutions, you can add extremely fine details.Note: The model and LoRAs you use can have a significant impact on the type and level of detail that can be achieved.Tiled Upscale:Tiled upscaling can be toggled on and off, and is fully integrated into this workflow using the Tiled Diffusion nodes.All of the settings also work with tiled upscaling, but make sure to use a tiled ControlNet!Latent & Model Upscale:By default, all upscaling is done to the latent, only encoding and decoding the image once, preserving quality. There is also the option to use an upscale model, although you lose the benefits of latent upscaling, as upscale models cannot work on latents.Ease of Use:Everything is controlled via UI nodes, with sliders and toggles. You won't need to hop around the workflow to tweak settings, as everything is grouped in a control panel, without the need to bypass or reroute anything. Just load your image, tweak the settings as desired, and you're good to go.Also, every option works with every other option! You can safely use any combination of settings without breaking the workflow (unless I missed a bug somewhere).Dual Phase & Switch Passes:The workflow uses two phases, both of which can be toggled on or off independently, allowing you to completely switch settings after a certain number of passes. For example, you can upscale normally in Phase 1, and then use Tiled Upscaling in Phase 2.There is also the option to enable a "Switch Pass" during each phase, that allows you to change sampler, scheduler, and/or multiply many parameters during certain passes.IMG2IMG:This workflow can also be used for img2img, with or without upscaling. By allowing the model enough freedom, and changing your prompt accordingly, you can alter the style of the image, or change any number of things within it. You can also use a different model than the original image's to completely change style.Check out the example images at the top of the page to see a couple of examples of what can be done.Monitoring & Previews:There is a "Live Monitor" that updates at every pass, showing the values in use for the current pass. So after finding a good spot for my gens after trial and error, I decided to annotate it and upload it here.Checkout my showcase, I use different LORAs (hopefully I set them up right, its annoying AF when you grab a workflow from here via image and it doesn't work).I am a lazy person that has only attempted inpainting once in my genning time and realised I ain't got the time or patience for that, so I usually aim for a first gen that is decent. If you inpaint, should be pretty easy for you to touch up.There are a couple custom node packs to install, but let the ComfyUI Manager handle that for you.Also I avoid adetailer and similar because I am impatient, so I try for gens that get the face or whatever right as close as possible in 1 shot.NOTE: I'm not exactly sure why, but the rgthree lora stacker acts differently to just chaining the core lora loader??? I was testing gens and decided to go back to my dumb lora chaining and got a different results with the exact same lora load orders & strength. Just an FYI

The most popular method from a workflow that's pretty popular on here is to use the cgem156 Attention node, unfortunately this node has quite a lot of issues. For one, it would throw out an error for no particular reason when doing hires fix. This was then "replaced" by the A8R8 Attention nodes in a recent version of that workflow... which also just didn't work for my purposes. The Impact node family has regional prompting nodes, but they all require being thrown into a specific sampler that also just didn't work half the time. Finally, there was the MultiAreaConditioning node a part of the Dave_CustomNode family, but this node is now broken with newer ComfyUI versions.Finally, I found the FluxRegionAttention node family, and it actually seemingly just works. As thus, I decided to move forward with making a regional prompt workflow based around it. I will state this: it is not perfect. It still has some issues sometimes (eg. sometimes regions can get "swapped"), but I've also had issues with the regional prompt extensions with A1111 as well, so I don't think any regional prompting setup is 100% perfect. However, compared to other regional prompt workflows I've tried before, this is much more consistent (at least for me) than all of them. < EVERYTHING HERE IS IRRELEVANT AS OF V2This workflow is designed by default to create a simple two region setup, with two columns. It is very easily extensible, and you can use the mask output of a load image node to create fully custom masks without needing to use the region bbox or nodes in the mask setup group.ChangelogV2:A8R8 either got an update or I got over my skill issues using it. Overall I was planning to revolve a regional prompt setup around it, and namely, also having an easier mask setup section as well. The workflow has been completely and utterly redesigned from the ground up, and with more options to get metadata and such.A noteThis workflow contains a lot of custom nodes. Before commenting that you have an issue with a node installing...Did you read the list of all custom node family/families that failed to import when you restarted or installed a node family, and did you read the console log to see why?Did you update ComfyUI and/or did "update all" in Comfy Manager?Did you update Python to the latest version?If all else fails, try to do a clean install of ComfyUI and try again. If it still doesn't work, then it is an issue on your end entirely and you need to diagnose yourself as to what the issue could be. Go to GitHub and open an issue for instance.
