1. Pseudonym and concept

The name Vergvoktre (it reads roughly like "Vergvoktre") is not a real name, but an elaborate archetype. The artist deliberately hides his identity, face, biography and voice, acting as an impersonal conduit of ideas. The pronoun "it" is often used.

The concept of creativity is built around themes:

Apocalypse and post-apocalypse: the death of civilizations, decline, ruins.

Transhumanism and cybernetics: the fusion of man and machine, the posthuman future.
