Touch of Pastel – A soft pastel LoRA for SDXL and Pony

Touch of Pastel is a gentle style LoRA based on my own photography, inspired by a pastel-colored retro hotel in Miami where I stayed a few years ago. I took hundreds of photos of its soft pink facades, mint interiors and golden-hour hallways. These became the foundation for this LoRA, supplemented with images I created using those originals as style references, and about 10% royalty-free material to round out the dataset.

The photos I used were taken with a Sony A7III camera and a 35mm lens, which already brings a natural sense of realism to this pastel LoRA.

What this LoRA adds

This LoRA adds a smooth pastel look to your SDXL and Pony generations: muted pinks and teals, creamy light transitions, a hint of vintage glow, and a clean aesthetic that feels airy and modern but rooted in retro visual charm.

✦ Adds: pastel hues (pinks, greens, blues), soft daylight ambiance, retro 50s–60s flair, creamy shadows and highlights, and architectural symmetry with a dreamy color palette.

✦ Best used with: lifestyle scenes, portraits, fashion shoots, architectural shots, summer objects, or stylized compositions with animals or characters. Perfect for giving your image that soft Miami pastel flair without harsh saturation or filters.

When to use it

Start your prompt with touch-of-pastel, and include at least one element that suggests pastel coloration (e.g. “pastel ice cream”, “mint green sunglasses”, “pink hallway”, or “creamy light on white walls”). Combining it with Touch of Realism V2 at 0.6–0.8 often results in a beautiful photo-pastel hybrid style.
