Mr. Screams, once known as a modest corporate lawyer, made a deal that forever changed not only his life, but his very being. Rumor has it it was a contract with some ancient being, or perhaps even with the Underworld Bureaucracy itself. After this event, his flesh receded, leaving only a smooth skull, but his mind and sinister charisma only grew stronger. He retained his love of formal suits and yellow ties, which now served as an eerie contrast to his undead appearance. Beneath his calm exterior lies a brilliant strategist and ruthless negotiator, capable of capitalizing on any situation. Mr. Screams's violet eyes emit a strange, hypnotic light that is said to compel people to reveal their deepest fears. He runs an underground organization that provides "problem solving" for those willing to pay the ultimate price. Legend has it that the small rag doll attached to his belt is the key to his power, or perhaps a reminder of something he once lost. The chains wrapped around his leg don't so much restrain him as symbolize his power over the destinies of others.
