Martha L. McHenry (1899-1932)

Martha was my great-Grammy's best friend. My Grammy was full of stories her Mom had told her over the years about the crazy, lovely, vibrant woman she's used to know. With a genuine Italian Mom and a 3rd-gen Dutch Dad, Martha was New York thru and thru. She claimed to have The Sight, and the healing touch, and my Grammy believed it at least. She married a well-off guy -- the McHenry -- in '26 or '27, and died in childbirth a few years later. Grammy always claimed she was still watching over our family, helping out because her kid hadn't made it. There's only a couple photos of her, so this is a decent lora of her trained on a shitty lora I spent a whole mess of time running gens for. From everything my Grammy said, she'd get a huge kick out of this being made. Here's to you, Martha. The family angel.
