If you want to really emphasis the texture and make it more "kiato" then just use the kiato tag on top - just be aware that this will generally increase the blue hue of the output by a lot. Using watercolor \(medium\) can also help an amount.

Personally I feel the best use case is to not use the lora for lowres but instead use something else to establish better anatomy/composition(kiato is very... simplistic in this regard) and then apply the lora in i2i upscale with a controlnet tile and high denoise. The miku and elaina in preview showcase used this method.

To which; recommended i2i upscale settings:

xinsir controlnet tile, .7-.8 denoise, tile_resample for preprocessor, .35 control weight and .45 end step
