GothTV

Toy LoRA to add a greyscale old TV CRT effect to pictures, with bonus effect of adding a more dark twist to the result.

Recommanded usage:

• Prompt: GothTV, scanlines, black border, monochrome, greyscale BREAK, [rest of the prompt], perfect hands

• Strength: between 0.6 and 1.0 should have the expected effect. Start with for the usual 0.8 😉

• Except for the cover picture, I did my first few tests with Euler A and 25 steps, i'll experiment more later 😅

• Since it was trained in vanilla Illustrious, it should works best on anime checkpoints.

Beware of Adetailer as it can really mess up the results if you denoise too much.

The Story™

So, i hadn't tested yet the on-site trainer and i had a stupid idea in mind for a concept: Apply the effect of ShaderGlass on some pictures and train a LoRA on it.

So, that's basically what i did! Generate a set of cool Goth close up pictures using HoJ, crop as i fancied, apply ShaderGlass, desaturate the result to get a Greyscale picture.

At the end of the training (i went overboard with 10 Epoch but really, it was overcooked by Epoch 5), i took the best looking Epochs and merged them to get what i wanted.

(Final values were: <lora:GothTV-000001:0.16> <lora:GothTV-000002:0.41> <lora:GothTV-000003:0.05> <lora:GothTV-000005:0.38>)
