タガメ（Giant water bug）

水生昆虫のなかでも最強と言えるタガメ。肉食で、時には自分よりも大きな魚や両生類などの脊椎動物を捕食する。その捕食は特徴的で、大きな前脚で捕まえた餌の身体に細い口を突き刺して消化酵素を注入、ドロドロになったエキスを吸い尽くす。
