Elspeth von Draken

"For three generations the name of Elspeth von Draken, Magisterix of the Amethyst College and Arch-Wizard of the Lore of Death, has been spoken of in hushed tones in the reeking tavern gutters and vaulted noble halls of Nuln alike.

An obsessive experimenter and mystic, Elspeth goes where she will, collecting and collating a storehouse of mystical artefacts and lore, which she guards jealously. Surrounded by all manner of occult items, Elspeth has become so saturated with the force of Shyish – the Amethyst Wind of Death – that there are some who whisper she is no longer human at all.

To her enemies, Elspeth seems to stand halfway between life and death, a violent spectre in human form whose magic destroys all it touches"
