Authentic Photography

Authentic photography, with the core principle of "restoring reality", objectively records real-life scenes through a camera. It differs from fictional setups, staged shoots, or excessive post-processing in artistic creation.

It focuses on capturing uninterrupted moments and emphasizes the authenticity of frame elements—scenes, characters' states, light and shadow ambience, etc., all originate from reality without deliberate guidance or alteration of the subject. It is commonly used in fields like news photography and documentary photography, such as recording social events, natural phenomena, or daily life fragments.

Technically, authentic photography usually involves minimal post-processing, only basic color grading and exposure correction. It avoids adding fictional elements or drastically changing the frame structure. Its purpose is to convey objective information through images, allowing viewers to intuitively perceive the original appearance of events or scenes, thus possessing recording value and the authenticity of information transmission.
